CARE OUR EARTH

we learned that we must save our earth because they are very important. they are renewable resources because they never run out. so we must care the earth.
my class has been making posters about it.

Hi, I'm back.  Now I am grade 6 but still in the same school.

last week, my class 6G and the other else 6H were going to the farm to know about the plants. I have been learning about science about monocotyledons and dicotyledons. This field trip is a science field trip, because the farm told us about the same thing we learn.

After we get there, we are divided into groups. The farmers are the one who guide us which plant is monocotyledons and dicotyledons. The farmers give us plants. When we get back, every day we write about our plant. And also, we try to know another way like: grafting, cutting and other else.

we have make a circuits, that is parallel and series circuit.

we need: 
-an output device (bulbs)
-an energy source (batteries)
-wires


Series circuit

a series circuit is a circuit that has components which are connected in one path/line.
if one bulb blew, the others will never light up because is made in one line or path.


parallel circuit

a parallel circuit is a circuit that has parts which are connected that are more than one path for the electric current to flow through.
if one bulb blew, the others are still working because i has more than one line/path










it takes many parts to built 2 different circuits.
we try our best to make these circuits

Gravitational forces

Gravitational force is a force that can act at a distance. Every planets have different gravitational forces. Gravitational forces pulls all things downwards, towards the center of the world.

Mass or weight

all objects on the have weight. If we move away from earth, the gravitational force becomes weaker. so, the weight of an object decreases. mass and weight can be measured, but the difference is that weight is a force and mass is not a force. the mass of an object is the same, even somewhere else. the weight of an object is different, even whe is somewhere else.


Frictional force


frictional force is a force that opposes motion. it is produced when two surfaces rub against each other for example: pushing a toy car, push the door.frictional force has many affects. it can:

• slow down and stop moving objects.
• prevent an object from starting to move.
• affect the movement of objects on different surfaces

Air resistance


the frictional force acting on object as they move through air or as air flows around them is called air resistance. Air resistance slows down the moving object. this experiment we do is to test the air resistance slowing down the parachute.

Water resistance


water resistance has more friction than air resistance. if we drop a chalk into a beaker fill with water, it slows down the chalk. but if we drop a chalk ito a empty beaker, it fells down faster than in water. so, water resistance has more friction than in air

Science fair

The science fair has a lot of games like tug of war, race to the trash bin,ETC. while going, we collect points whic has the most points wins. They are fun. We use teamwork to win the games

my science PPT presentation

Our science PPT presentation is about showing about physical and chemical changes. This shows about the changes on the material. Like burning, moulding, melting, breaking, cutting and rusting for example. This presentation it's kind of fun. We work hard for our presentation to get good score.
